Ms. Kibtiya Mohammed Faruk is a post graduate student at the University of Cape Coast studying Master of Philosophy in Home Economics, clothing and textiles major.

She is the director of administration for Ghana Youth Guide and the Chief Executive Officer of Kouturehub – a clothing brand. She is a resilient and goal oriented young lady who loves to volunteer and to learn new things.

Her believe in the strength of the girl child and the need to place them in the center of our developmental initiatives in our quest for social change has led her to actively engage and implement community-based projects under Ghana Youth Guide.

Motivated by her own life story of the strengths of the girl child being overlooked, she went through her basic education with little guidance and motivation. Thus, her greatest desire to see to it that girls are motivated and encouraged to harness their strengths.

She is an upcoming educationist and a champion for the development of girl child education and has several years of experience in youth development. Currently, she is the Administrator for Ghana Youth Guide intervention on Strengthening the Ghanaian Youth through Climate-Smart Agriculture.

Ms. Kibtiaya Faruk Mohammed is passionate when it comes to the promotion and development of the girl child for social change.

Ghana Youth Guide (GYG) is a non-political, independent, not-forprofit organization run by young people in northern Ghana. Ghana Youth Guide LBG is Registered with the Ghana Registrar Department with a Registration number: CG037110524 under the companies Act, 2019 (Act 992). GYG was founded on 10th May, 2010.

GYG is based in Tamale-Ghana, West Africa with 540 active members across the Northern Region. Our membership is open to all mindful human beings irrespective of tribe, gender, religion, and age.
